My name is Katie Jones and I am a professional vocalist and voiceover artist who has had the opportunity to work all over the world. I have taught for 16 years. 6 of those have been online as well as having worked for various theatre & music companies around the country.
I have taught from ages 3 to adult and I would love to help you on your vocal journey.

My 9 year old daughter wanted to learn singing. I found Katie through recommendation and had a trial which she really enjoyed. I arranged for my 6 year old son to have a trial too and didn't think he would be interested or would sit through it. However, Katie had his attention and interest straight away. They've been having lessons for weeks now and absolutely love it. They would walk past all their friends in the park on a sunny day to head home for singing lessons! I am really impressed.
Katie is an amazing vocal coach, she has inspired my daughter and given her confidence in herself so she looks forward to every lesson.

My daughter has always thoroughly enjoyed her singing lessons with Katie. They have so much fun together, and Eva's singing ability, understanding of different genres, and performance skills have improved hugely. In fact she had received distinctions in both of her LAMDA exams so far.
Can't fault Katie in the slightest. From first meeting her she put me at ease and made me feel comfortable to sing in front of someone, providing valuable knowledge, skills and techniques I think about and use everytime I sing now.

Katie teaches our two kids.
In a few months they have started singing in tune. They know several full songs and enjoy singing for themselves and for us.
They are also comfortable singing in front of strangers and love singing together. Katie has brought to our household a joy that we didn't know the existence of.

Katie has been teaching my six-year-old daughter singing since UK lockdown 1.0 (March 2020). We picked singing lessons as we needed to find an activity that we could do remotely, and singing gave us the flexibility as well as it works perfectly over Zoom.
It is the only lesson my daughter looks forward to doing in her schedule of other weekly extra-curricular activities. My daughter’s singing confidence and ability to sing (not just shout!) has improved so much since her time with Katie. Katie has hand-picked songs for her to sing and rotates them every few weeks – which she finds both fun and also challenging! Six months on, and I actually think my (then) tone-deaf little girl, may actually fulfil her dreams in becoming a singer!

Katie has been a fantastic singing mentor for our 12-year-old daughter over the past couple of months. Her professionalism sets a high standard, and she brings a friendly, approachable attitude that puts our daughter at ease from the first session.
